MARATHON RACING SHUFFLES THE SCOREBOARD ON EXHILARATING DAY THREE OF THE MELGES IC37 NATIONALS

Melges IC37 sailors completed three races in glamorous conditions on Race Day 2, bringing us past the half way point in this hotly contested championship. The Members Only syndicate team still leads the competition into the final day, but it was Double Jointed, co-helmed by Ray Wulff and Andy Fisher, and Qubit, helmed by Chris Lewis that shined this afternoon.

Melges IC37 style teamwork was featured in full today as crews strived for consistency in variable conditions. Christopher Culver and the Blazer team managed to hang on to their overall lead, but it was Phil Lotz and his crew onboard Arethusa who won the day.
